Christian M Sclafani

Email: csclafan@berkeley.edu

Phone: 818-319-3790

Christian is a first year nuclear engineering Ph.D. student studying the effects of corrosion in molten salt environments. He is very passionate about advancing reactor technologies to help aid in the exploration of outer space. Nuclear powered propulsion systems are at the apex of any space exploration program, and he intends to help advance this field however possible. Before coming to U.C. Berkeley, he earned his B.S in Aerospace Engineering with a focus in Astronautics. When he is not studying or doing research, you are likely to find him carving some gnar at the nearest mountain or riding up and down the PCH!
