Undergrad

Jefferson Gunahin

Jefferson Gunahin

Jefferson is currently in his second semester as an undergrad researcher for the SALT Research Group. He is currently working with Timothy Pickarski to develop and manufacture dot microelectrodes using nanofabrication tools. His work focuses on enabling electrochemical sensing in molten FLiBe, contributing to the group’s efforts to better understand mass transfer behavior of hydrogen and tritium in high-temperature molten salt systems.

Molly Kharya

Molly Kharya

Molly is currently in her first year as an undergraduate for the SALT Research Group. Currently, she’s working with Timothy Pickarsi, studying nanofabrication and characterization of printed micro-electrodes for hydrogen diffusivity and concentration measurements in molten FLiBe. She is also learning from Jefferson how to manufacture micro-electrodes using nano-fabrication techniques.
