Rob Atienza

BIOGRAPHY
Rob is a fourth year undergraduate student majoring in nuclear engineering–he enjoys drawing, playing video games, and going through various rulebooks for tabletop RPGs in case he wants to run a certain rule set. He was born in LA and lived in Santa Monica for most of his childhood up until high school. He has a younger brother who maybe plans to major in political science–it’s ongoing.
He is also the current student ANS president here at UC Berkeley, in charge of directing the org’s efforts to promote the benefits of nuclear science, assisting the student body of the department with anything they may need, and to help foster academic and professional development.

PROJECTS
Currently, Rob works under Sasha Kennedy for the evaluation of methods of salt digestion for elemental analysis of fluoride salts. He also is involved with setting up the GCMS within the lab.
